AthenaVita, PLLC
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information AthenaVita collects through this website, why it is collected, and the choices available to you.
Effective and last updated October 11, 2026
The short version: You can browse the Resource Library and use the MRS PREVENT™ Assessment without an account or personal information. Information is collected only when you choose to join an email list, request session updates, or send a professional inquiry.
Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on the form you use, AthenaVita may collect your name, email address, organization, proposed event date, format, location or time zone, audience information, and message. Email signup forms also record your consent to receive the requested communications.
Please do not submit personal medical information, medical records, requests for diagnosis or treatment, or other sensitive health information through website forms or general email.
MRS PREVENT™ Assessment
The assessment does not require a name or email. Answers are held temporarily in the open webpage to create an educational summary. They are not submitted to AthenaVita, saved in browser storage, or sent to your healthcare team. Closing or refreshing the page clears them.
Technical information
The website’s hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information—such as IP address, browser or device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs—to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site. AthenaVita does not currently use advertising pixels or its own behavioral-advertising cookies.
How information is used
- Send Collective emails or HeartStrong Session updates you requested.
- Respond to speaking, education, media, or collaboration inquiries.
- Maintain consent and suppression records, including unsubscribe requests.
- Operate, secure, improve, and troubleshoot the website and forms.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
AthenaVita does not sell personal information or use submitted information for third-party behavioral advertising.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe from promotional or educational emails at any time using the instructions in an email or by contacting hello@athenavita.com. AthenaVita may retain a limited suppression record so an unsubscribed address is not added back unintentionally. Transactional responses to an inquiry are separate from marketing emails.
Service providers
AthenaVita uses service providers to host the website, process forms, store business records, and deliver email. Current form submissions and related records are processed through Google Workspace and Google Apps Script. Providers may process information on AthenaVita’s behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization.
Retention and security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, to maintain unsubscribe records, or to meet legal and business obligations. AthenaVita uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, email, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information AthenaVita maintains about you by emailing hello@athenavita.com. Identity verification may be required, and information may be retained when legally permitted or required.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. AthenaVita does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
External links and changes
Third-party websites and tools have their own privacy practices. AthenaVita may update this policy as its website or practices change; the date above will identify revisions.
