I’ve worked in cardiovascular care since 2012, spending much of my career in cardiac electrophysiology—a specialty I love for its complexity, collaboration, and lasting patient relationships. Opening an ambulatory surgery center early in my career introduced me to clinical operations and the work of building better systems for care. Since then, my role has expanded to include educating colleagues, leading clinical programs, and improving care across teams.
Making room for more.
AthenaVita grew from wanting to expand that work—to make more room for teaching, writing, and conversations with women about their health. I continue practicing clinically, and I bring that experience into everything I create here.
I believe women deserve time for their questions, thoughtful attention to their symptoms, and explanations that help them understand what’s happening in their bodies. Their reproductive history, midlife changes, and concerns about the future deserve a place in the conversation.
Meaningful work. A full life.
As a wife and mother of two, I also wanted to build something that reflects the life I want to live: meaningful work, curiosity, connection, and time for the people I love. AthenaVita brings those priorities together in a space where women can learn, ask questions, and feel more confident participating in their care.
I’m glad you’re here.
